Grande Riviere is a residential community in the quarter of Gros Islet. Grand Riviere has an estimated population of 740 persons. This Wellness Centre also serves neighbouring communities including Corinth, Monier, Piat and White Rock. The Wellness Centre therefore serves almost 3000 residents. The Grand Riviere Wellness Centre is the only healthcare facility in the community. However, the Gros Islet Polyclinic is located about 8km away. The project entails the implementation of upgrades to improve the functionality of the clinic, improve its structural soundness and make it a greener facility, by improving its energy efficiency.
