 Scope of Contract:

As part of the communications function, the PIU is seeking to engage the services of a Website Developer to:

  1. Design and create a webpage dedicated to the UBEC project; whereby users can access information on project activities, stakeholder involvement, project goals and objectives, and interact with the PIU as necessary.
  2. Enhance the project’s online presence and outreach through a well-designed and functional website.

The selected Consulting Firm will be responsible for the following tasks:

  1. Create a content management system that which enables the updating of information easily (through predefined sections and outlines with titles and contents editable by admin. The editable content allows different formats, such as flash, text, image, etc.)
  2. Provide a platform for interaction and information sharing among all those interested
  3. Implement a basic “blog” function which integrates social media platforms such as Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Facebook. The website should facilitate streaming of information between these different platforms
  4. Include a function which captures user analytics including but not limited to demographical data, and preferred social media platforms
  5. Site must be compatible with the most widely used browsers such as Google Chrome, Apple’s Safari, Microsoft Edge, and Mozilla’s Firefox
  6. Ensure that the site is compatible with standard user devices, including a mobile phone, tablet, laptop, and desktop computer
  7. Include a comprehensive search functionality to the website
  8. Optimize the site for low bandwidth users
  9. Ensure that the website is optimized with Search Engine Optimisation (SEO), to ensure that it appears at the top of the lists on search engines
  10. Provide support where required for maintenance, administrative, technical, quality control and general updates to the website
  11. Perform the necessary tests on the developed website to ensure overall functionality, information accuracy, and multiple device compatibility.
